Sheriff Hatcher is a main character in the Cleaver film series.

Biography

Once a deputy in the small town of Carlise, Hatcher was a deputy who's life was changed when he came upon the aftermath of Cleavers first kill.

After The Sheriff quit Deputy Hatcher became Sheriff as he tried to stop the Clown Menace one year later when he returned to terrorise the small town.

Outraged by his inability to stop the killer, the townspeople demanded Hatcher step down. Leading him to take a job as Sheriff in the small town of Still Rivers.

Little did he know that he would soon face the Cleaver again.

History

1990

• Hatcher is a deputy in Carlise, when he is called to house on Halloween night. There he finds Carlton Layton after he has murdered his wife.

1991

• Hatcher takes over as Sheriff after Sheriff Hoffman quits and tries to catch the killer when he returns. After failing he was asked to leave.

1995

• Now the Sheriff of Still Rivers, Hatcher has his suspicions that the Cleaver has come to his new home. He investigates a call with rookie Deputy Howells.

• There they find the Bailey family dead.

• Hatcher and Howells discovers Danny Jackson's body and Hatcher reveals that he knows why the Cleaver is in Still Rivers.

• Hatcher tells Howells that Layton had a daughter and he helped hide her in the care system. After checking the files he finds that all the victims has had adopted children. There is only one left on the list, Mary Beth Palmer aka Suzy Layton.

• They arrive at the Palmer house to discover that Layton has already been there and killed Carley Lewis.

• Hatcher and Howells chase Cleaver down and find him broken down at the edge of town. It is, however a trap and Hatcher is seemingly killed and his body taken by Cleaver.

2000

• Howells tracks Layton down to a farm house on the edge of the Arkansas border, she discovers that they have been keeping Hatcher captive and have driven him insane by torturing him over the years.

• Hatcher, comes to his senses briefly and saves Howells from the clutches of Mary Beth and then, realising he has become a monster, Kills himself.
